I’ve always been fascinated with photography. Those perfectly real moments that capture us as we are, sometimes unaware the camera is even there. Naturally, I gravitated toward editorial and documentary images. As I began to pick up a camera, I too wanted to capture something relatable, authentic and hopefully, moving. 

Eventually, I found myself shooting editorials for menswear brands in New York City. I quickly found a style that let my subjects settle into themselves in front of the lens. I never want to pose anyone, I observe and wait for each moment to press the shutter. Below is a selection of portraits from some of those better moments.
